Job description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
A Senior Lecturer is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the institution, and to carry out activities to maintain and develop his/her professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline. A Senior Lecturer is expected to make contributions in research and community engagement.

Minimum requirements
- A CA OR a SAIPA/ CIMA/ SAICA qualification plus a Master’s degree in Accountancy (NQF Level 9) OR a PhD (NQF level 10) in Accountancy.
- Professional accreditations with SAIPA/CIMA/SAICA.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ teaching experience in an Accounting subject group.
KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Accounting

- Taxation
- Financial Management
- Mdac
KEY BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
- Writing skills.
- Communication skills.
