Introduction
The North-West University’s Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS) Centre is looking for unemployed graduates under the age of 35 in heritage related studies such as Indigenous knowledge systems, African studies, anthropology, records and archives, philosophy, and sociology.
Sites of operation: Bojanala, Ngaka Modiri Molema, Dr Kenneth Kaunda & Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati Districts.

Job description
- Plan and perform surveys
- Collect and analyze data
- Present research results to committee
- Determine areas of research to increase knowledge in particular field.
Minimum requirements
· Completed at least a bachelor’s degree in the specified areas of heritage
· Ability to speak the local languages (Setswana) spoken in the 4 districts
· Ability to collect, capture qualitative and quantitative data
· Do any other research related functions
· Currently resides in one of the chosen districts
· Ability to work with local communities and leadership
