Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching undergraduate modules.
- Teaching and supervision.
- Research publications
- Community service
- Study guide and material development
- Support of research entity
- Initiating and planning of strategic research initiates
FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS)
- Have research skills, interpersonal skills/communication, and computer literacy.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
- Team worker.
- Good interpersonal relations.
Minimum requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A PhD in Educational Management and Leadership (NQF 10).
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in higher education as Associate Professor.
- Author/co-author of at least 5 research articles in accredited journals for the last 5 years.
- Have proven experience with research methodologies.
- Completed supervision of at least three Master’s and two Doctoral students
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Leader and/or involvement in funded research projects.
- NRF rated.
