Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •    Teaching undergraduate modules.
  •    Teaching and supervision.
  •    Research publications
  •    Community service
  •    Study guide and material development
  •    Support of research entity
  •    Initiating and planning of strategic research initiates
FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS)
  •   Have research skills, interpersonal skills/communication, and computer literacy. 
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
  •   Team worker.
  •   Good interpersonal relations.

Minimum requirements

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • A PhD in Educational Management and Leadership (NQF 10).
  •  A minimum of 5 years’ experience in higher education as Associate Professor.
  •  Author/co-author of at least 5 research articles in accredited journals for the last 5 years.
  • Have proven experience with research methodologies.
  • Completed supervision of at least three Master’s and two Doctoral students 
RECOMMENDATIONS:
  • Leader and/or involvement in funded research projects.
  • NRF rated.
