PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The purpose of this position is to provide support to Pharmacen facilities including the Laboratory is terms of being cleaning of lab equipment, laboratory benchtops, glassware, messenger’s task, kitchen tasks and admin support
Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Wipe down all lab surfaces
· Clean and remove all waste from bins
· Wash and pack away any glassware/plasticware onto the shelves where they are stored.
· Report all lab supply shortages in time to the relevant lab manager
· Wipe all kitchen surfaces daily-mornings and before leaving
· Wash dishes, dry and pack away, kitchen to be left clean and decluttered before leaving daily
· Report all stock supply levels in kitchens in time to secretary
· Perform messenger and mail services as requested, pick up of stationary at stationary stores as well as solvents for the labs.
· Assisting in re-distribution of packages to the correct receiver thereof
· Assist with the receipt of packages when the Procurement Officer is unavailable
· Lab administrative support

· Working knowledge of MS (Word), internet and emails

Minimum requirements
• Grade 12 (NQF 4) with Maths or Science is recommended
• 1 Year Laboratory experience is an advantage
