Job description

Niche Field:                        Outer Space Law; Cyber Law and related IT or Technology Law fields; the Metaverse; Virtual Worlds; Digital Assets; Artificial Intelligence Law; Property related aspects of any of these legal fields.

certificate; copy of LLD/PHD Thesis; copies of publications or link to publications; 2-page proposal of the envisaged postdoctoral research

Minimum requirements

LLD/PHD in Space Law or Cyber Law / IT Law. At least 2 published academic journal articles or book chapters or conference proceedings.
 

Commencement date:     1 February 2026

 

NRF Fellowship Amount: R249 600 per annum (non-taxable)

 

Duration:                         1 year (renewable on satisfactory progress)
