Introduction
The Business School has a 2-year position for a post-doctoral researcher to work in research projects related to the field of Business Administration, General Management, Entrpreneurship, Organisational Behaviour, Corporate Governance, Operations and or Digital Science in Business. The appointed applicants will be based at the Potchefstroom Campus with the aim to increase research outputs in the mentioned focus areas. NWU offers a stimulating working environment, and the successful applicant will be part of a strong research team of the Northwest University Business School.
Job description

To work in research projects related to the field of:
  • Business Administration,
  • General Management,
  • Entrpreneurship,
  • Organisational Behaviour,
  • Corporate Governance, 
  • Operations and or Digital Science in Business. 


Minimum requirements

· PhD in Business administration, Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behaviour, Corporate governance, Operations, Strategy and or Digital Science in the field of Business (or related discipline) obtained in the last 3 years.
·        Demonstrate experience in publications on any of the above-mentioned focused area of research.
·        Proven track record of publications in top quality Journals (DHET Accredited Journals).
·        Evidence of a previous or a funded project will be an added advantage.

The application should be written in English and include the following documents:
1.   A motivation letter summarizing the applicant's professional experience and expertise and describing why the applicant is interested in this position, as well as the expected contribution to be made to the Business School.
2.   A research plan for the next two years.
3.   A curriculum vitae (max. 5 pages).
4.   A detailed list of publications.
5.   Names and complete contact information of two possible references.
6.   Certified copy of PhD certificate.
7.   Copy of PhD Thesis.
8. Three latest published articles (peer reviewed in reputable journals.
