Introduction
VACANCY: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (TEMPORARY). POSITION NUMBER: PF01899. The position is being funded in terms of an agreement entered into between the Faculty of Law and Legal Aid South Africa. The appointment is made for a fixed-term period of 12 months. The appointment is essential to provide for routine legal receptionist and administrative functions at the Mpumalanga Access to Justice Cluster situated in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.
Job description

Minimum requirements

Minimum requirements:
  • Matric
Other competency requirements:
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing and managing of files and records.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word and Office, as well as the use of email and internet
  • Be able to operate all applicable office equipment and systems
  • Demonstration of language proficiency in order to function optimally in the various multilingual
  • Behavioural Competencies
  • Good interpersonal relations
  • The ability to accommodate multiculturalism
Recommendations:
  • 3 years’ experience in office administration
  • 1 years’ experience in file administration in a legal firm
  • 1 years’ experience in typing of legal documents

Total remuneration package: Market related
