Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Teaching undergraduate and Honours modules.
  • Research publications and higher degree supervision.
  • Community Engagement.
  • Development of study guides and study material.
  • Assist with work-integrated learning of students.

Minimum requirements

  • MEd in Education with specialisation in Educational Psychology or equivalent.
  • Professional teacher’s qualification.
Recommended requirements:
  • Two (2) years higher education experience as a Lecturer.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in an Educational Psychology environment.
  • Registration as Registered Counsellor or Educational Psychologist with the HPCSA.
Essential competencies:
  • Knowledge of teaching in different modes of delivery.
  • Computer proficient.
  • Language proficiency to function in a multilingual environment.
