Job description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide assistance with administrative tasks of the NWU Brand Store

Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance
  • Recon of NWU Brand Store Accounts and stock.
  • Receipt of service billings and invoicing of quotations on system.
  • Create Retail and Wholesale store quotations and arrange delivery.
2.Administration
  • Ensure that effective stock control is implemented throughout.
  • Consistently monitoring stock levels to alert the relevant manager to re-order stock.
  • Uploading stock onto the stock management system.
  • E-commerce order fulfilment: Receive customer orders via e-commerce platforms (Take A Lot and NWU online shop), verify order information, check inventory availability, arrange and ensure delivery to customers.
  • Input Stock transfers into the system and track transfers between the various shop locations.
  • Assist Store Assistant in monthly Stock Take.
  • Assist with telephone enquiries.
  • Ad hoc: Assist at the retail store and online stores as and when required.
3. Store Assistant
  • Make sales referrals.
  • Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Make price tags and price items timeously.
  • Market the shop and its offerings on available platforms and through available channels to ensure that items sales are increased.

Minimum requirements

  •  Grade 12 (essential)
FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE
  • 2 years’ experience in Administration (essential)                                             
FUNCTIONAL & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
  • Computer Literacy
  • Interpersonal skills 
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
  • Diligent
  • Adaptable 

The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
