Job description
· Providing administrative support to the e-Learning team and environments where UDL e-Learning is involved.
· Providing e-learning administrative support with regard to stakeholders and multimedia users where UDL is involved.
· Planning and scheduling of live broadcasts, recording bookings and multimedia venue bookings.
· Manage the e-Learning mailbox.
· Scheduling team tasks and activities.
· Stationery management.
· Meeting scheduling and minute taking.
· Contributing to the development of a strategic long-term plan for UDL regarding e-learning presentation.
· Query handling and management.
· Finance and asset control.
· Ensuring quality assurance and effective records management.
· Ad hoc tasks
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12
- 2 - 3 years’ administrative experience
- 2 - 3 years’ client-service experience
- Computer literate and high levels of efficiency in MS Office, Google Drive & MS Teams.
Other competency requirements:
· An additional diploma/qualification will serve as a recommendation.
· Experience in administrative support within a technology environment.
· Good minute taking skills.
· The ability to manage and schedule team tasks and activities.
· Knowledge of the operations of UDL Teaching and Learning.
· The ability to function effectively under pressure and as part of a team
· Good interpersonal relations, communication skills and a positive client-service orientation.
· Proven ability to effectively handle queries and liaise with students, lecturers and faculties.
· Experience in records management.
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
