Minimum requirements
- Masters degree in Science Education with an initial teacher's qualification in Life Sciences ((E.g., Botany, Zoology, Physiology).
- Two (2) years teaching experience of Natural Sciences and/or Life Sciences at School level.
KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Fundamental Knowledge of Life Sciences concepts to teach content modules for undergraduate B.Ed and Honours students;
- Knowledge of dynamic teaching-learning technologies
- Good computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Use of blended learning environments, e.g., Internet and email
KEY BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
- Able to function well in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural working environment
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
