Purpose of the position:
To manage and optimise access to reliable systems for library users across campuses in order to support them with the discovery and use of information resources. To support Library Directors in strategy planning and development of Library Information Services.

Minimum requirements
· B degree in Library and Information Science or a B degree with a Postgraduate qualification in Library and information science or an equivalent B degree in a relevant field
· Additional Information Technology qualification may serve as a recommendation
· LIASA Membership
Other competency requirements:
· 5 years’ experience in computerised academic/ research library
· 5 years’ experience of IT applications, electronic library and information systems
TOTAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE: Market related
