Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Teaching Undergraduate Modules
  • Teaching and Supervision: Postgraduate
  • Research Publications
  • Community Service
  • Study Guide and Material Development
  • Support of Research Entity
  • Initiating and Planning of Strategic Research Initiatives

Minimum requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • A PhD in Curriculum Studies (NQF level 9).
  • A minimum of 3 years’ proven and comprehensive teaching experience in higher education.
  •  Author of a substantial number of quality accredited research articles/books/chapters in the field.
  • Leading and participating in research projects is preferable.
  •  Supervisor of completed masters and PhD studies.
Functional / Technical Competencies (Knowledge and Skills)
  • Have a proven record of presenting at/attending relevant national and international conferences.
  •  Demonstrate leadership in the field.
  •  Involvement in teaching and/or research activities at community level.
  • Record of national and international networking, collaboration, and recognition.
Behavioural Competencies
  • Team worker.
  •  Good interpersonal relations.
Remuneration:
