Job description

 
Responsibilities:
·        Teaching and learning to undergraduate and postgraduate students
·        Postgraduate supervision and related research if there is a need
 
Minimum requirements:
·        MCom Accountancy (or equivalent) degree; and
·        A member of SAICA as a CA(SA); and
·        Proven knowledge or experience with Financial Reporting standards (IFRS); and
·        At least 1 year teaching experience in the field of Accountancy at tertiary level.
 
Other competency requirements:
·        Financial Reporting (IFRS)
·        Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
·        Knowledge of Accounting Software packages
·      Demonstration of language proficiency to function optimally in the multilingual environment of the NWU
