Job description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Assist the Project Manager in the Project Execution and Closure phases.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.     Project execution and closure:

  • Procurement and reporting.

2.     Project Audit:

  • Audit outcomes.

3.     Team:

  • Team contribution.

Minimum requirements

·          A bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in any field of study.

·          A minimum of 3 years' experience in project exposure.

RECOMMENDATION / ADDED ADVANTAGE:

·         Membership with the Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association (SARIMA).

KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

·          Procurement.

·          Project reconciliation.

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

·          Problem solver.

·          Team player.

 

REMUNERATION:

The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
