Join the Securities and Financial Markets Law Research Niche under the Mentorship /Supervision of Prof HT Chitimira as a Fulltime Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Law, North-West University, South Africa.
Job description

  • Securities & Financial Markets Law (Securities Regulation, Financial Inclusion, Financial law, Banking law, Competition law, Market Abuse and Financial Crime Regulation, Regulation and Use of Fintech and AI Measures to Curb Financial Crime, Fintech and Securities Law, Fintech and Financial Markets Law).
  • Submit a detailed CV; 2 reference letters; copies of LLD/PHD certificate; copy of LLD/PHD Thesis; copies of publications or link to publications; 2 page proposal of the envisaged postdoctoral research. 

Minimum requirements

  • An LLD/PHD in Corporate Law/Mercantile Law.
  • At least 2 published academic journal articles or book chapters or conference proceedings.

REMUNERATION

The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
