Job description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To assist with the execution of Psychometric Assessment Administration and Coordination and the Office Bearer Appointment processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.   Administration and Coordination of Psychometric Assessments

     Provide guidance in the administration of Psychometric Assessments for designated members.

     Coordinate and communicate appointment times and venues for the testing of individuals or groups

     Maintain Psychometric Database and records of testing supplies, and assessment instruments.

     Prepare Psychometric material for Feedback to Interview Panel/Management

     Validate invoices from service providers, liaise with relevant departments to ensure payment

     Maintain security of assessment reports

     Provide psychometric assessment feedback to line managers, selection panels and candidates

     Assisting Employee Wellness with assessments and feedback as required

2.   Recruitment & Selection – Office Bearer positions

     Assist Manager: Recruitment & Selection with the recruitment processes of office bearers – scheduling of meetings, inviting candidates, etc.

     Drafting and placement of advertisements on Pnet and LinkedIn

     Assist with headhunting processes (for all level of positions – including scarce and critical skilled positions)

3.   Reporting

Assist the Manager: Recruitment & Selection with:

     Completion of senate reports

     Updating of the senior appointment report

4.   Ad-hoc

     Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as requested (Employee Wellness projects, TM &OD Projects, etc)

Minimum requirements

·        A bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Human Resources or related fields (i.e Industrial Psychology).

·        An honours degree (NQF level 8) in Human Resources or related fields (i.e. Industrial Psychology).

·        A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in the administration and coordination of psychometric assessments

·        A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with recruitment & selection processes.

ADDED ADVANTAGES & PREFERENCES:

·        Registration with the HPCSA as an Independent Psychometrist/Psychologist.

KEY FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

·        Knowledge of applicable HR practices’ policies, processes, SOPs, templates and management systems.

·        Knowledge of applicable legislation (BCEA, LRA, EE, SDA, SDLA).

·        To administer the applicable HR practice(s) policy, process, SOPs, templates and management system(s).

·        Keep records, maintain data base, do filing and prepare data for reporting.

·        Deal with HR policy process and related queries in a courteous and competent manner.

·        Ability to work under pressure.

·        Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.

·        Ability to be part of a working team.

·        Time management skills.
