PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate level.
• Community engagement.
• Study Guide/Mod Development.
• Support of Research entity.
• Conducting Research.

• A master’s degree in Curriculum Studies (NQF level 9).
• A minimum of two (2) years’ teaching experience. 

ADDED ADVANTAGE:

• Involvement in research activities including publication.
• Experience in higher education.

KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Proven teaching record at school/higher education level.
• Research potential.
• Computer literate.

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

• Team player.
• Good Interpersonal Relations.

REMUNERATION:

The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
