PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To fill a vacancy in the School of Professional Studies in the subject group curriculum studies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate level.
- Community engagement.
- Study Guide/Mod Development.
- Support of Research entity.
- Conducting Research.
Minimum requirements
- A master’s degree in Curriculum Studies (NQF level 9).
- A minimum of two (2) years’ teaching experience.
ADDED ADVANTAGE:
- Involvement in research activities including publication.
- Experience in higher education.
KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Proven teaching record at school/higher education level.
- Research potential.
- Computer literate.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
- Team player.
- Good Interpersonal Relations.
REMUNERATION:
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
