KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inquiries
· Addressing general inquiries through telephone, email, and in-person at the counter. Proactively managing the generic email account. Ensuring timely responses to inquiries within a 48-hour timeframe.
Identifying of unallocated amounts
· Follow-up of unidentified and unallocated deposits on NWU Sundry receipts to assist with allocation on a daily basis as well of assisting with unallocated amounts on suspense account to allocate when identified.”
Ad-hoc
· Assisting with ad hoc tasks in the line of duty as requested by line manager.
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
· OHS protocol.
Minimum requirements
· Grade 12 (with accounting as subject) (NQF 4).
· A minimum of 2 years’ financial and/or bank administration experience.
ADDED ADVANTAGES:
· VSS system knowledge.
· Experience within a tertiary education environment.
KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
· Accuracy and attention to detail.
· Problem solving skills.
· Computer Literate in MS Office.
· Punctual.
· Good communication skills.
KEY BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
· Client Service Orientated.
· Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
· Time management and ability to work under pressure.
REMUNERATION:
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
