The Internship opportunity is available on the Vanderbijlpark, Potchefstroom and Mahikeng Campuses of the North West University.
Job description
- In-house maintenance of facilities
- Inspections and Condition assessments
- Administration work
- Updating of records
- Assist Maintenance Coordinators
- Follow up building maintenance related enquiries
- Assist in checking work done by service providers
- Comply with OHS requirements and regulations
Minimum requirements
- Must be a South African Citizen.
- Matric Certificate and a completed National Diploma or N6 in Building, Civil or any related Built Environment.
- Applicants must be unemployed.
- Must not have taken part in any sponsored internship programmes.
- Computer literacy.
- Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Clear criminal record.
