PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The candidate will be responsible for lecturing undergraduate and/or postgraduate applied mathematics modules and can also be expected to be involved in the development of new modules. Other duties include the supervision of honours students.
Job description
· A MSc (9 NQF Level) in Applied Mathematics.
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
· Currently Registered to study towards a PhD in Applied Mathematics.
ADDED ADVANTAGES & PREFERENCES
· A PhD (10 NQF Level) in Applied Mathematics.
· Member of SAMS & AMS.

The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
