Job description

Niche field:                      Securities & Financial Markets Law (Securities Regulation, Financial Inclusion, Financial law, Banking law, Competition law, Market Abuse and Financial Crime Regulation, Regulation and Use of Fintech and AI Measures to Curb Financial Crime, Fintech and Securities Law, Fintech and Financial Markets Law)

How to apply:                  Submit a detailed CV; 2 reference letters; copies of LLD/PHD certificate; copy of LLD/PHD Thesis; copies of publications or link to publications; 2 page proposal of the envisaged postdoctoral research

Minimum requirements

LLD/PHD in Corporate Law/Mercantile Law; at least 2 published academic journal articles or book chapters or conference proceedings
 

Commencement date:              24 November 2025.

 

Fellowship amount:     R249 600.00  per annum (non-taxable)

 

Where:                               Potchefstroom campus of the NWU.

 

Duration:           One year (renewable up to three years on satisfactory progress).
