Job description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Teaching and Learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teaching.
  • Research.
  • Community engagement.

Minimum requirements

  • An MSc (NQF level 9) in Agricultural Economics.
  • Membership with the Agricultural Economics Society of South Africa (AESA).
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in teaching and research.

KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Economic development, Farm management, farm planning, accounting, and linear programming.

KEY BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Professional, credible, and good level of integrity.

REMUNERATION

The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
