Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Teaching undergraduate modules
· Teaching and supervision: Postgraduate
· Study guide and material development
· Leading and participating in research national and international projects
· Initiating and planning of strategic research initiatives
· Research Publications - articles, chapters and/or books
· Community service
· Membership and participation in research entity activities
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.

Minimum requirements
· PhD in Educational Management and Leadership
· 5 years’ experience of previous employment in the field of higher education at least at the level of associate professor
· Author/co-author of at least 5 research articles in accredited journals since 2014
· Have proven teaching experience in research methodology
· Completed supervision of Masters and doctoral students (At least 5 completed students)
· Research skills, interpersonal skills/communication and computer literacy
· Have a proven record of presenting/attending relevant national and international conference
ADDED ADVANTAGE & PREFERENCES:
· Leader of funded research projects
· Involvement in funded research projects (e.g. NRF funding)
· Proven national and international network
· Experience as mentor
