PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To fill a vacancy in the School of Professional Studies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
- Community engagement.
- Study guide/ mod development.
- Support of research entity.
- Conducting own research.
Minimum requirements
LECTURER
- A master’s degree (NQF level 9) in Curriculum Studies.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ teaching experience at school/university level.
JUNIOR LECTURER
- An honours degree/ a postgraduate diploma (NQF level 8) in Curriculum Studies.
- A minimum of three (3) year’s teaching experience at school/university level.
KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Proven teaching record at school /University level.
- Research potential.
KEY BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
- Team player.
- Good Interpersonal Relations.
REMUNERATION:
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
