Job description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Administration of Dr.Nelson Mandela residence.

JOB DESCRIPTION                           
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1.      Administer student records
2.      Liaise with Maintenance coordinator for Proper, regular and routine maintenance of residence
3.      Liaise with occupational Health and safety for safety regulations in residence
4.      Promoting students social & cultural diversity and activities in residence
5.      Assist with administrative duties on residences
6.      Attend to and stabilize emergencies in residences

Minimum requirements

·       Grade 12 is essential
·       2 year’s general administration experience is desirable
 
Functional & Technical competencies:
·       Good communication skills
·       Problem solving
·       Computer Literacy
·       Good report writing
 
Behavioural competencies
·       Good interpersonal skills
·       Team work spirit

The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
