Responsibilities:
1. Research:
- Finding and reporting the relevant literature on the topic.
2. Laboratory liaison:
- Locate and contact laboratories to conduct the required analyses.
3. Laboratory work:
- Preparing samples and performing all experiments both in-house and externally.
4. Attendance of meetings:
- Preparing and providing bi-weekly feedback sessions in-house, while giving monthly feedback sessions to Sasol on work conducted.
5. Reports:
- Compiling quarterly reports pertaining to the work conducted.
Minimum requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- BEng/ BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry (Essential).
- 1 year laboratory experience (essential).
Functional/Technical Competencies (Knowledge and Skills):
- Report writing skills.
- Oral presentation skills.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Interpersonal Skills
