Functional/Technical competencies (Knowledge and Skills)
- Advanced knowledge of quantitative research methodology within one or more of the indicated fields.
- Working knowledge of qualitative research methodology within one or more of the indicated fields.
- Demonstration of language proficiency in order to function optimally in the multilingual environment of the NWU.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and participate as a team member.
- Be open to diversity in a multicultural office.
- Fostering an inclusive and collegial environment that encourages a high level of performance, communication and teamwork
Recommendation
- Experience in the writing of funding application for research projects.

Minimum requirements
- PhD in one of these fields: Pharmacy practice, Clinical pharmacy, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Epidemiology, Health and/or Pharmacoeconomics, Clinical pharmacology, Public health / Health policy and systems or other related fields
- 1 to 5 Years’ post-graduate experience in teaching and post-graduate assessment.
- 5 to 10 Years’ post-graduate experience in supervision of post-graduate students on masters’ and doctoral level
