- Teaching modules in the labour relations programme on undergraduate and postgraduate level.

- Research and publication in the subject field (LARM); complete with own PhD; and post graduate supervision.
- Community engagement
- Integrate and align community engagement with core activities and promote sustainability principles.
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.

Minimum requirements
- Master’s degree in labour relations
- Experience of teaching, development of teaching content, examination and/moderation.
- 3 years’ experience as a labour relations practitioner.
ADDED ADVANTAGE & PREFERENCES:
- Accreditations at South-African Society of Labour Law
- Registered with South-African Board of People Practices
- Experience in proven publications in labour relations, and added advantage will be a drafted PhD proposal.
KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Computer literacy in MS (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proven undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in labour relations
- Proven experience with conducting training and meetings using virtual platforms such as Zoom/MS team etc.
- Knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods relevant to the field of labour relations.
