Job description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To facilitate and execute all org design processes, procedures and interventions as well as change management and diversity interventions. To facilitate organisational development interventions and solutions that increases the effectiveness of the organisation and enables employee engagement in order to empower the business to achieve its strategic objectives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main responsibilities of the position, who reports to the Senior Specialist: OD, includes, but not limit to:
1. Assist in the consultation process for succession planning, draft succession plans, Career Paths
2. Draft training material for People and Culture interventions, including training reports
3. Team Development and team interventions
4. Assist with Culture and Values intervention programs
5. Maintaining Organizational structures
6. Weekly reports on deliverables
7. Research as and when needed on IOP an HR related subjects
Minimum requirements
· Bachelor’s degree: Human Resource and related fields (Industrial Psychology)
· Hons Bachelor’s degree: Human Resource and related fields (Industrial Psychology)
· 2-3 years’ experience in Organisational Development/Design
KEY FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
· In depth knowledge of organisational develop as it applies to the organisational context
· Knowledge of organisational development principles, practices, philosophies and procedures
· Knowledge of general Human Resources principles, practices and procedures
· Strategic thinking
· Analytical thinking
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work with cross functional teams
· Ability to liaise effectively across all levels of responsibility in the organisation.
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
