Minimum requirements
- Leadership of research groups in epidemiological research.
- International experience in university and research institutions.
- 5 Years’ experience in teaching and learning at an academic institution.
- Experience in the management and analysis of large data [epidemiological] sets and outputs of projects.
- Evidence of postgraduate student supervision.
- Experience in using biostatistics in epidemiology and public health.
- Experience in standard statistical programming software such as SAS, R, STAT, SPSS.
- Experience in consulting with researchers from different disciplines on study designs and analysis.
- Experience in evidence synthesis (meta-analysis) and systematic reviews of literature.
- Evidence of established international research networks.
- Evidence of the ability to work across disciplinary boundaries.
- Proof of training in human research ethics and serving on research ethics committees.
Responsibilities:
- PhD in Biostatistics/Medical Statistics (For Associate Prof).
- M-degree in Biostatistics/Medical Statistics (For Senior Lecturer).
- A proven track record of publications in accredited journals as first, co- or last author.
