To support Library Directors in strategy planning and development of Library Information Services.

Minimum requirements

  • B degree in Library and Information Science or a B degree with a Postgraduate qualification in Library and information science or an equivalent  B degree in a relevant field
  • Additional Information Technology qualification may serve as a recommendation
  • LIASA Membership

         Other competency requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in computerised academic/ research library
  • 5 years’ experience of IT applications, electronic library and information systems
