PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Administrative support to the Deputy Dean Assigned & faculty representative on the Mahikeng campus
Job description
- Responsible for Office administration
- Responsible for functions in the Office of the Deputy Dean related to Quality Assurance; Internationalisation and International Exchange programmes.
- Liaison with alumni and stakeholders and sponsors
- Responsible for organising and Entertainment
- Building representative – general reporting on infrastructure (telephones, booking of venues, kitchen etc.)
- Ad-hoc tasks
Minimum requirements
- Matric/Grade 12 is essential
- Diploma/Certificate NQF Level 6 is essential
- 3 years’ experience in Office administration and management is essential
- 3 years’ experience Kuali Financial System is desirable
Technical competency (Knowledge and Skills) requirements:
- Use of Internet and Microsoft office
- Report writing
- Scheduling of meetings and organisation of workshops
- Records management
- Valid driver’s license
Behavioural Competencies:
- Have good personality, is extremely organised and service-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work under pressure, a self-starter, highly innovative
- Customer care
The annual total remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of appointment as advertised and in line with the NWU policy guidelines.
