Minimum requirements

Minimum requirements:
  • Master’s degree (Med in Accounting in Education) or
  • Masters in Accounting related qualification accompanied with (PGCE)
 
 
Desirable requirements:
 
·      Accounting in Education teaching experience further education and training institution or higher institution of learning
·      3-5 year experience in development of teaching and learning material within the Accounting education
·      Registered or ability to register for a PhD upon appointment  and to complete it on reasonable time
 
 
Functional/technical competencies (knowledge and skills)
 
·      Undertake undergraduate teaching and learning
·      Experience in teaching and learning material development
·      Experience in designing quality assessment
·      Design new course at the undergraduate or graduate levels, and updating the curriculum requirements for various degrees within the university and faculty’s teaching and learning strategy
·      Creating new degree, diploma and or certificates related under and post graduates level as well as short learning programs in Accounting in education
·      Scholarly knowledge in Accounting theory, philosophy and didactics of Accounting in Education
·      Demonstration of language proficiency in order to function optimally in the various multilingual environments of the NWU.
