Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Teaching in contact and distance modes
  2. Programme development
  3. Research and supervision
  4. Community engagement
  5.  Work-integrated learning
  6.  Administrative tasks

Minimum requirements

·       Professional teacher’s qualification.
 
SENIOR LECTURER:
  • Ph.D. in Learner Support or equivalent
  • Successful supervision of a higher degree student or exceptional research outputs
  • Minimum two (2) accredited publications
 
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
  • Ph.D. in Learner Support or equivalent
  • Successful supervision of a number of higher degree students
  • Record of consistent accredited publications
 
ADDED ADVANTAGES & PREFERENCES:
  • SACE membership
  • Two (2) years lecturing experience on a full-time or part-time basis at higher education level
  • Two (2) years’ experience delivering learner support services
